Recipe 1: Almond Rhubarb Love

o    ½ cup sliced almonds

o    1 ½ cups rhubarb, chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).

  3. Beat brown sugar, egg, oil, and vanilla in a large bowl until they form a smooth consistency.
  4. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a smaller bowl. Then add this flour mixture to the brown sugar mixture alternately with milk.

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch pan.
  3. Sift the baking powder, 2 cups all-purpose flour, and salt. Set aside the flour mixture.
  4. Cream the butter and sugar until it forms a fluffy and light mixture.
  5. Add in the egg and beat the mixture thoroughly.

o    3.4 ounces (1 pack) instant butterscotch pudding mix

o    1 cup vegetable oil

o    1 cup water

o    1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease a 10-inch Bundt cake pan or 9×13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a medium-size bowl, mix butterscotch pudding mix, vanilla pudding mix, and yellow cake mix.

  5. In another bowl, stir in brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon.
